Glenn Madison

I decided to form our motorcycle club in 2004. Leo Suane, one of our road captains, thought we should come up with a name that means New Orleans . The name Hurricane Riders couldn't be better. Who would've thought that it would be a hurricane that changed the way we lived in New Orleans forever. After two years of re-building, 2007 brought new beginnings for the club as well as our lives. We're “bigger and badder” and will not be stopped by Katina, Lucy or any other storm that comes this way.

I started riding motorcycles when I was fifteen. I learned to ride on a German motorcycle, which all the gears and controls were on the opposite side of American motorcycles. I loved the speed with nothing around me, it made me feel free. My father's brother, Wilton Madison who lived in Buras La. owned a Harley Davidson that he allowed me to ride on occasions. I noticed the distinct rumble of the motor and the vibration of power under the seat, and my mind was made up.
